Basics of Statistics and Data Analysis

Short description

This course will teach you to do practical statistics analysis. We will study the main concepts of statistics and the main methods of statistics analysis.
SPSS package will be used during this course. SPSS is software package used for statistical analysis.

Requirements

Basic knowledge: Knowledge of higher mathematics at the level of second year engineering.Basic knowledge of theory of relativity.
Homework:: 1-2 per class. The answers must be sent within 1-2 weeks.

Assessment

50% of grading is based on homework, the other 50% is based on two on-going tests.
